This work is an atmospheric experiment using recordings of bird sounds and a max tool created during the fall 2020 semester, lazr~. The recording below is mono, but in the future I would like to experiment with hearing this through a multi-speaker array.

In this improvisation I alter the bird sounds with the effect, apply delays, and adjust the pitch throughout. The result is a mix that sounds like a hybrid electronic bird call; as if secret data was being transmitted that humans can’t normally hear.
