Performance note: UUDDLRLRBAS is a piece where all performers are performing on the same computer instrument. Each performer will open up this Max patch and then play the included video (this can either be loaded into the max patch via drag and drop or played through another application. The video has no effect on the audio processing). While the video is playing, each player should pretend that they are controlling one of the on-screen characters with their controller as detailed below in “recommended gear”.

Max 8.1 or newer: You can download the latest version of Max here. You do not need to purchase a license in order to perform this piece; only to edit and save patches.
Logitech Extreme 3d Pro USB joystick: This controller is used by default in the included patch. Users are able to utilize the joystick, trigger, thumb button, buttons 7-8, and the +/- fader to control various parameters of the sound generation.
