This work is based off of the visual art piece by Piet Mondrian, pictured here. The approach to it is simple and straight forward. I began by collecting samples of various kinds of electronic noise and assigning them to each color represented in the painting. from there I arranged the samples to match up with the painting and applied filters to focus the heard sound of each noise. This way a vertical slice of frequencies that matched up with the paintings could be heard, and would progress from left to right, changing when then shapes in the painting changed.
