It is impossible to do anything in a complete vacuum. Others affect you, you affect others. Living with this is part of the human condition.
Ethereal Presence utilizes the Cyberinet’s built in gyroscope in order to process the instrument’s sounds.
The score is available for download here.
Software
The performer will require the Puzzle of a Park Max patch to run the electronics. This can be downloaded here. Max version 8.5 or newer is required to run the software patch. This can be downloaded for free (trial version) or purchased here. The patch should be compatible with both Mac and Windows devices, but if your operating system is giving errors, I recommend trying on a Windows PC as that was what most of the development was done on. If you are still having compatibility issues, please let me know via my CONTACT page.
The Specific Max Patch for this composition is still under development. When completed, it will be available for direct download through this page. You can find the most recent build at this GitHub repository. Keep in mind that these will be works-in-progress until the patch is made available directly on the webpage, and may not be properly functional until that time.
Hardware
The performer will need the following hardware components
Cyberinet Main Unit
Microphone
Audio Interface
Computer to run the electronics
Audio from the interface should be connected to the room’s speaker system.
