This piece is a dramatic narration of selections from a chapter of Jules Verne's Journey to the Centre of the Earth. In it, I work to depict the emotions one might feel if they were to become lost in a cave deep underground, and mimic some of the sounds they might also hear, or think they might hear as their mind begins to play tricks on them in the darkness.
