Three electroacoustic pieces
Cognatism:
2 Cellos and live electronics: 5 mins

What do the electronics do? pre-recorded lines with reverb, delay, and EQ used in convolution synthesis with the live cello sounds.
Electronics (link to Google Drive download because incorporated .wav files are too large to direct upload to my website)
Break out:
Trumpet and live electronics: ca 6.5 mins
premiere: 4/27/19
What do the electronics do?: Recordings of live material (triggered by pedal or spacebar on laptop) are send through a randomized LFO modulation and played back. Gradually overtakes the performer until they break free.
Concept and Material inspired by Pink Floyd’s Mother.
First paying commission. Also included premiere performance and studio recording to be done over the summer/fall.
Electronics (direct download of PD files)
movements:
Dancer, quartet, and live electronics: ca. 15 mins
Thesis project
premiere 4/27/19
Quartet comprised of Clarinet, Trombone, Cello, and Piano.
Inspired by various aspects of video game music. Layering, motifs/characters, Player Agency/Control Input, non-linearism, etc.
What do the electronics do?: set up code that tracks a color and maps the average location of the pixels. The location data is send to Pure Data and used to automate processing of the instrumental sounds.
Electronics are still in progress. I will upload to the Movements webpage after my recital.
