This is the backing music for a scene in LSU physical theatre’s 2022 production Dream Logos. The show was premiered in August of 2022 as part of the Fringe festival in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The scene progresses as such:

The main character has an ice cream cone. She has been wanting this ice cream cone for weeks. An unwitting stranger accidentally bumps into her, making her drop the cone. Overcome with grief and rage, the main character punches the stranger, killing them instantly. Another bystander runs up to check on the stranger, then confronts our main character. What proceeds is a series of bystanders running up to check on the others only to be punched and instantly killed by the main character. After the whole cast has been taken down, the main character reflects on how it could have been avoided before punching herself. Everything then rewinds back to the moment the ice cream cone hit the floor. This time, the main character accepts the strangers apology, and their offer to replace the cone with a new one.
