Not sure how to proceed...

all of the discussions from this class have given me an idea for a new electroacousitc piece, but I am unsure how to proceed with it. I know what I want the end result to be, but have no idea how to work out the software to do what I need it to do (or if it is possible to execute with just one software in real time). It normally wouldn't be a problem except that I don't have the time to sit and try a bunch of different things while I'm studying abroad. honestly, its just frustrating.
