Updates to the website are complete

I have (finally) completed all of the structural update to the website. Now, each piece that I have written and will write in the future has (or will get) its own page where I will post relevant information about the composition such as the instrumentation, duration, etc. I will also include short blurbs and notes about the piece and what inspired my writing process. These will be different than the program notes in the published score. I will also use these pages to post any recordings, videos, etc. involving that piece of music that I have or learn about.

In order to navigate to a specific composition, hover over WORKS in the top menu and select the category. From there each piece is listed in reverse chronological order and set up as a link to its page. I have also included a page where I will post academic writing and essays as I write more of them. I will add the .pdf files to that page at a later date as I am revising some of them for DMA degree applications.

I am still setting up the store area of the site, and will have more on that later; likely by the end of the year, but it is hard to say until people begin to ask about access to performance materials.

If you follow my facebook and instagram posts, I'm sorry (but not really) for the large amount of posts the other day as I began to share highlights from my summer travels. Some of these photos may still be able to be seen on my SOCIAL MEDIA page, but if not they can all be seen from the link to my Instagram account on the bottom of any page on the website.

As for new music I am in the process of writing several different pieces at the moment. I have one for SATB choir using text that my sister wrote. I hope to have that completed by the end of September along with another piece for my conservatory's Composer's Wind Ensemble. I plan to have my quintet done by Dec 15th and will work on Harmon(A) as a winter project. There are still at least 2 more composition assignments that I am anticipating as part of the acedemic year, but I am unsure of what those may be. Possibly another art song to round out the '3 poems of Emily Dickinson' Idea I had about 3 years ago.
